To celebrate their 50th anniversary, Powell Street Festival is forming a new dragon boat team. They are looking for paddlers to join this community-based team. Practices will be held on Saturdays 12:00-2:30pm at Dragonzone also known as Dragonboat BC, at the Creekside Community Centre. This seasons practice fee is $50, and race fees will be announced later.

The new JETs are almost on their way to Japan, and we need your help getting them ready! Pre-Departure Orientation will take place on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21 in downtown Vancouver. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide the next generation of JETs with their first insight into the joys and hardships of life in Japan.

On March 11th, join us for a hybrid event marking 15 years since the March 11 disasters. The program reflects on Fukushima’s ongoing recovery, including the role foreign residents and JET Programme participants played in supporting the region's revitalization, and features a live virtual tour from disaster affected areas.
