With programs for kids, teens, and adults, workshops, performances and more, there is something for everyone at CircusWest! We’re the one-stop hub for circus arts on the West Coast. We help children, teens, and adults develop skills in circus arts and performance, while increasing their fitness and self-confidence in a safe and fun environment. We’re best known for CirKids, our youth training and
performance program. However, over the years we have developed additional programming to meet the needs of the community, including programs for teens and adults and outreach to schools and communities. What we offer:

CircusWest Performing Arts Society is a not-for-profit registered charity founded in 1984. Our team brings years of circus arts training and performance experience. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by more than 400 community members.

LIGHTING UP CHINATOWN! CircusWest back for the fifth time as part of Chinatown Foundations LIGHT UP CHINATOWN. This two-day outdoor festival featuring live performances, insanely good food, and exclusive pop-ups all throughout the neighbourhood. Kay, Devon, Fraser and Zahra dazzled the sun soaked crows with a mix of object manipulation, aerials, handstands and fun. Tomorrow, we bring our circus antics to the Richmond Oval for Community Day. JOIN THE CIRCUS!
What a FUN-FILLED Summer we are having so far at CircusWest!
Our Circus Day Camps are brimming with excitement at campers learn new circus skills and craft a show for the end of the week for family and friends.
And, next week we have an AERIAL INTENSIVE for circus enthusiasts aged 14 and above.
So, the FIFA Fan Festival at the PNE is not the only thing that is cooking on site at the PNE this Summer. Circus is also representing at Hastings Park!
Our Summer Camps are filling up! We are in week two and the energy is electric in the gym as a new batch of 8-14 year olds are learning to unicycle, juggle, do trampoline, climb aerials, and so much more.
At the end of the week, they will put on a show for family and friends at the PNE Garden Auditorium showcasing their newfound skills.
Parents -- please ACT FAST to secure a spot in our July or August circus day camps as they are approaching capacity -- and we don't want you to be disappointed!
Summer nights are hot at CircusWest as we have a series of Circus specialty Intensives throughout July and into August.
Next week, we have a HANDSTANDS & ACROBATICS Circus Intensive running Monday-Friday from 530pm-830pm. The week following, we are bringing back the popular AERIAL SEQUENCING & CHOREO class which is always a HIT!

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!
For many kids, today is the last day of instruction. Some of the younger ones go to the end of the week! But, the fact remains that SCHOOL IS OUT FOR SUMMER!
Now what?
We go you covered! CircusWest has CIRCUS DAY CAMPS throughout July and into August for youth at 8-14 years of age. And, we have a host of CIRCUS INTENSIVES for folks 14 and above during weekday evenings in July and into August as well.
This is typically the days we see the heaviest registration for our Summer offerings as parents realize SUMMER S ACTUALLY HERE!
Today is the FIRST DAY OF SUMMER & it is time to unleash your inner circus freak!
CircusWest has a host of Circus Specialty Summer Night Intensives for 14+. Classes run from 5:30pm-8:30pm weekdays in July and into August.
Pick from Aerial Intensives focusing on Strength & Conditioning, and Sequencing & Choreography. We also have two Intensives focussing on Handstands and Acrobatics for ground focussed circus enthusiasts. Also, we invite our 4P & Performance Stream circus artists to August Circus boot camp for an Intensive training camp.
Classes are designed for participants with some previous experience in circus, dance, acrobatics, movement, aerials, parkour -- but we also welcome folks who are keen for a challenge and to push their limits.
Our popular CircusWest Summer Camps are filling up! There are limited spots in some camps so please register ASAP to get the week you desire. As school winds down, parents look for options during July and August to challenge and excite their children.
Our CircusWest Summer Camps are from 9:00am-4:30pm weekdays with a custom circus showcase each Friday afternoon for family and friends.

ONE WEEK UNTIL SHOW!
We are in the final week of preparations for the TREE OF LIFE CIRCUS at the PNE Garden Auditorium.
We open on Thursday, May 25th at 7:00pm.
The show features our PERFORMANCE and APPRENTICE troupes in circus show about resilience and community. Come and be amazed at their aerial and ground circus prowess as we weave together a story to inspire.
We look forward to seeing you at the show to celebrate circus and the power of community.

8 DAYS UNTIL SHOW!
We are so excited to present TREE OF LIFE CIRCUS to everyone next week at the PNE Garden Auditorium. One show is already SOLD OUT and we expect more to come.
The show features the amazing talents of CircusWest's PERFORMANCE STREAM youth circus artists in a 90 minute tale of community, standing your ground, and sharing your passion.
We are now in rehearsal week and everything is taking shape. Stage Lights and drapery will be picked up later this week and we build a performance space at the PNE Gardens on Monday.
