CircusWest Dream big. Push limits. Defy gravity. CircusWest is a Vancouver-based circus performing arts society. www.circuswest.com

With programs for kids, teens, and adults, workshops, performances and more, there is something for everyone at CircusWest! We’re the one-stop hub for circus arts on the West Coast. We help children, teens, and adults develop skills in circus arts and performance, while increasing their fitness and self-confidence in a safe and fun environment. We’re best known for CirKids, our youth training and performance program. However, over the years we have developed additional programming to meet the needs of the community, including programs for teens and adults and outreach to schools and communities. What we offer:
Programs and classes for all ages
Camps, workshops, and birthday parties
Community and private events
Team building and other personalized workshops for individuals, schools and companies
Advanced training for adults, teens, and professional circus artists

CircusWest Performing Arts Society is a not-for-profit registered charity founded in 1984. Our team brings years of circus arts training and performance experience. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by more than 400 community members.

Are their after school plans still up in the air? Maybe that’s where they should be.

For experienced young circus artists ready for more, CircusWest’s Performance Troupe is where skills become acts and training moves onto the stage.

Students ages 13–19 develop specialties, create individual and group acts, explore theatre, movement and stage presence, and perform at festivals, community events and CircusWest’s annual May production.
It’s a bigger commitment, with training three times a week and entrance by audition.

Because sometimes the greatest show isn’t the one they’re watching. It’s the one they’re in.

The next generation of circus starts with great coaches. And we’re hiring.

CircusWest is looking for coaches to join our teaching team.

Right now, we’re especially interested in coaches with experience in youth aerials, adult trampoline, hoop and trapeze, but we don’t want to stop there.

Got another circus specialty? A class you’ve been wanting to teach? An idea you think our community would love? Pitch us. We’re casting a wide net and would love to hear what you could bring to the CircusWest floor.

If you’re passionate about circus, enjoy teaching and want to help people discover what they’re capable of, send your resume and a little about your coaching experience or class idea to [email protected].

Know someone who would be a great fit? Tag them or send this their way.

YOUR CHILD. THEIR IMAGINATION. OUR CIRCUS.

Some kids want to climb. Some want to fly. Some love figuring out a new trick. Others can’t wait to put on a show.
At CircusWest, there’s room for all of it.

CirKids gives kids ages 3–17 a place to explore aerials, acrobatics, juggling, trampoline and more while building strength, coordination, confidence and new friendships along the way.
And as they grow, so does their circus.

Depending on the program, students can develop acts, and even step into the spotlight in a CircusWest production.

The greatest show might just be the one they’re in.

Fall circus classes begin September 14 at the PNE Garden Auditorium in East Vancouver.

Fall registration is now open!
