I’ve been teaching English since 2010, when my journey began in Mexico City. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping students from all over the world become more confident communicators.
A few things about me:
📚 I’m a huge book lover.
🌎 I’m a language learner too (so I understand the frustrations and the wins).
💪 I believe learning English is a lot like building muscle; it takes consistent practice, patience, and showing up even when you don’t feel motivated.
🇬🇧 I’m originally from England and have called Canada home for many years.
Whether you’re preparing for CELPIP, trying to speak more naturally, or simply looking to build your confidence, my goal is to make learning practical, effective, and encouraging.

This is the secret to speaking confidently in another language 🤫
I used to hate speaking Spanish and I was always so nervous 😬 nervous 😥
But I learned to accept that the only way I was going to speak comfortably in my second language was to just get really comfortable being uncomfortable 😳
And not just speaking another language
At the gym 💪
Speaking to groups of people 💁♂️💁♀️💁
Posting videos on social media 📱
I speak to SO many students who tell me that when they try to speak English, their mind goes blank 🙄and they can’t say what they want to say 😩
You are probably going to feel really uncomfortable 😣 but you have to push past this feeling in order to overcome it 💪
You also have to expect that when you speak in your second language sometimes you are going to feel stupid 😒 ridiculous 🥴 see or like a child 👶
This is completely normal.
Speaking in English or any other language is always going to be a massive challenge UNLESS you decide that you are okay to be uncomfortable!!
You will survive! And who knows… you actually might start enjoying speaking in English!!! 😊
