Exciting news! Registration is open for UBC Collegia for the 2022-2023 school year. UBC Collegia are physical spaces on campus designed intentionally for new-to-UBC commuter students in their first year. These communities provide you a place to meet other students and make friends, enjoy your lunch, study, connect with senior peer leaders and faculty members, and much more! There is no additional fee to become a member, you just need to register by visiting the UBC Collegia website: https://students.ubc.ca/new-to-ubc/ubc-collegia.

Are you looking for ways to give back to first year students at UBC? The CSI&C is hiring for the following positions:

• Jump Start Orientation Leader
• Jump Start Senior Orientation Leader
• Collegia Advisor
• Senior Collegia Advisor

You’ll support new students through transition programs such as Jump Start, Imagine UBC, and Collegia. As a leader within the Jump Start and Collegia team, you will work alongside faculty members, First Year Experience staff, and other student leaders to build community with small groups of incoming students.
