After the 2025/26 season, the Young Readers’ Choice Society of BC will take a hiatus to lay a sustainable foundation for the future of the program. We’re calling on our community—educators, readers, librarians, parents, publishers, and book lovers—to help us reimagine what the next 30 years can look like.

Join us for Tween Book Club, and dive into some new stories! This time tweens in grades 4–7 will read books that are Red Cedar Book Awards nominees. Together, we'll read at least five of this year's nominated books, track our reading, play fun games, and cast our individual votes for the best book of the year.
