To our wonderful clients, collaborators, and community partners, thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and working alongside us. It's been a year full of growth, connection, and meaningful moments, and we couldn't do any of it without you.

We've been supporting more students with autonomic disorders like Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Orthostatic Hypotension (OH), and we wanted to share what's helping them learn.
What We're Seeing:
Our students often experience dizziness, chronic fatigue, rapid heart rate, brain fog, and difficulty with temperature regulation. These symptoms make traditional classroom settings and learning environments incredibly challenging.
Accommodations Making a Difference:
* Flexible positioning during tutoring sessions (sitting, standing, or lying down as needed)
* Shorter, more frequent learning blocks instead of long sessions
* Access to water and snacks during sessions
* Cool, comfortable learning environments
* Extra time for processing and completing work
* Permission to take breaks without explanation
* Recorded instruction they can review when feeling better
What We've Learned:
Most importantly, our students aren't unmotivated or distracted. They feel that their bodies are working against them in ways most people can't see. With the right support and flexibility, they show up fully and accomplish remarkable things.
If you're supporting a young person with dysautonomia, please remember that small accommodations and a bit of understanding go further than we might imagine.
