🌈 Last week Pleasant Mountain Music honoured to be invited to the TUTS pride night to show case our Q***r Choir program, alongside other wonderful organizations who have dedicated programs for the LGBTQIA+ community.🎵

Shout out to Patrick Tham our longest attending member of Q***r Choir for not only meeting and greeting folks at the table, but also for taking photos to commemorate the experience!

Big thank you to Theatre Under the Stars for reaching out to PMM and inviting us to have a table. We really appreciate the opportunity to connect with new people, we hope to return next year, and we LOVED the show! Truly. All three of us were charmed: Sister Act is fabulous!

Pleasant Mountain Music’s Q***r Choir programs runs on Saturdays from 3:30-5:00pm on a bi-weekly schedule. Our upcoming sessions are scheduled for August 15 and August 29. Pay-What-You-Can.

🏆🥇So excited to announce that our student Charlotte Gocher has won 🥹🤎 From Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festivals and advancing to provincials, and then awarded first place at Performing Arts Bc Provincial Festival and then sent to the National division where she also won first place: it has been an honour to watch Charlotte grow and blossom throughout this process. 🎤Charlotte performed 5 pieces showcasing a multitude of vocal colours and challenging character interpretations. We are very thankful for the creators of this beautiful art form we love and respect so much:

Charlotte’s Western Canadian Championship is such a proud moment - not only for her but for our entire PMM community. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to support arts education - it truly takes a community to help students reach moments like this and Charlotte’s achievement is a testament to her hard work, dedication and the encouragement she’s recieved along the way. Congrats Madelyn on a very successful day of four performances at 🥇🥇🥇🥇! We’re so proud of you for giving it your all at all times. We were able to celebrate her high scores with a brunch at ❤️ Thank you to the amazing adjudicator (and industry colleague who is just the sweetest human) for your amazing feedback and support of all the kids who performed yesterday. We were so lucky to have you as an adjudicator and we look forward to digging into your feedback!!! What a beautiful day of music and celebration!
