🥇SHE DID IT FOLX 🥇 ARIANNA PLACED FIRST AT PROVINCIALS!!!! We are SOOO endlessly proud of you Ari. You work so hard and it was beautiful watching you receive this award. Thank you thank you and for seeing her talent and giving her a chance to perform at this level. To say we are honoured and privileged is a COMPLETE understatement 🩷. Thank you to Tim Stiff (the musical theatre adjudicator) for seeing the amazing artist that Ari is becoming. Thank you to our dear friend .cate.macisaac for her friendship and support (and she placed second!!!! We adore you!), and to our other friends and her lovely students (and gorgeous friend and daughter Clara) who have built us up and celebrated this moment with us. We love you all very much and are so lucky to call you colleagues, peers, and most importantly, FRIENDS AND COMMUNITY (much love to Perla, Claire, new friend Teagan, new friend Chloe, and so many more). Now on to vocal variety tomorrow, and Ari gets to perform at the Gala to celebrate her win. YAY! WAY TO GO KIDDO!

🙏Thank you so much VKMF for a wonderful awards show honouring so many amazing young people yesterday at Michael J Fox Theatre. The showcases were incredible, we saw many good friends, peers and colleagues, and celebrated each other the only way we know how: LOUDLY!

🎺 Participants across the brass instrument family (Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Euphonium, Baritone) will enjoy some fantastic musicianship and group music making by joining this welcoming ensemble. You should have some previous playing experience, including a basic understanding of notation reading. But rest assured this class will bring you up to speed on your reading skills, embouchure endurance, tap into your music appreciation, and make the whole process fun. Spring repertoire includes: He’s a Tramp (Lady & the tramp) When the Saints go Marching in, Havana (Camila Cabello) and Thunderstruck (AC/DC)

🎸Kick start the next phase of your music journey with this fun and inclusive Rock Band class! It’s aimed at giving adults the satisfaction of practicing and performing music together. Song choices are chosen by the Rock Band participants themselves, and previous sessions have learned hits such as “I believe in a thing called love” – Darkness, “Hysteria” – Music, “I love Rock and Roll” – Joan Jett, “Zombie” – The Cranberries and beyond. Every session is overseen by skilled teacher and performer, Hugo!
Wednesdays @ 7:00-8:30pm
Your first session is free! Join a rehearsal in May or June! $35/session after that.
