Tomorrow, Julia Morlacci, educator of Urban landscapes and Geographer, is coming to present at our Forest Ecosystem camp at 10:30am. All students are welcome to join!

Join us for this unique virtual science program packed with hands-on activities, presentations, and outdoor explorations. We will explore the science of ecosystems from the forests to the beach, from our province to beyond!

Beach Ecosystem:
Learn about the ocean, tides, incredible biodiversity, kelp forest, disasters/ocean pollution, and more!
Become a marine ecologist as you go on beach scavenger hunts during low tides and explore the gifts of nature.

Forest Ecosystem:
Explore the magic of forests, from lush rainforests to mysterious old growth forests. Learn about the rich biodiversity living in the forests. Discover the affect of forest fires and deforestation and how to protect our forests...

2 more days to go for our awesome, fun-packed Bird Camp! In the past three days, the kids learned all about birds, from how to identify them to how their beaks relate to their diets and habitats. The kids went on bird scavenger hunts, created fun crafts, made a little song with bird noises, and hung our homemade bird feeder on the tree today! Excited for more adventures ahead~

This Spring, Embark on a journey of discovery in the world of birds with biologist and scientist Ms. Mar! Learn to identify local birds, discover the meaning behind bird behaviours, and build your own bird nest and bird feeder, and more!

The camp will combine outdoor exploration and hands-on activities with virtual instruction for 5 days of fun! Two sessions offered for Grades 1-3 & 4-7
