Most families don’t need more sleep tips.

They need a clear plan, and support while they implement it.

That’s what we do.

In the same way a fitness coach tracks progress and adjusts your fitness and nutrition plan along the way, we guide you through each phase, making real-time changes based on how your baby is actually responding.

We’d love to see which support would be best for you and your family. Book a complimentary discovery call through the link in our bio to chat with a sleep consultant 💛

We see it all the time...

The new mom “pushing through” running on almost no sleep, clearly exhausted… but still expected to show up, hold it all together, and keep going.

Somehow, her wellbeing becomes optional. And everyone around her treats it like that’s just… normal.

But it’s not.

Sleep deprivation affects far more than your energy. It impacts your mood, your nervous system, your ability to feel like yourself.

And yet, we’ve normalized it to the point where asking for help can feel like you’re not doing enough.

During Maternal Mental Health Month, we want to remind all moms:

You weren’t meant to do this alone and you don’t have to wait until you’re completely depleted to be supported.

Share this with a mom who might need to hear this, and check in on her today 💛

Every month starts with good intentions.

And for so many families, sleep just… stays the same.

Not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because without a clear plan and the right support, it’s really hard to know what to change (or when).

This is exactly why we do what we do.

On average, families we work with start seeing meaningful improvements within the first few days, not because of quick fixes, but because everything is tailored, supported, and adjusted in real time.

Sleep doesn’t have to be something you keep pushing to “next month.”

If someone you love is a new mom right now, read this...

Sleep deprivation doesn’t always look the way you expect.

It’s not just “being tired.”

Sometimes it looks like:
– she says she’s fine, but hasn’t slept more than a few hours in days
– she seems more anxious or on edge than usual
– she’s forgetting simple things or feels mentally foggy
– she’s doing everything herself because it feels easier than asking
– she doesn’t quite seem like herself anymore

These aren’t small things to brush off.
They’re signs her system might be under real strain.

And most moms won’t say it out loud.

They’ll keep pushing through… because they think they’re supposed to.

Support doesn’t have to wait until things feel urgent.

Sometimes it looks like stepping in sooner, offering help without being asked, or making space for her to actually rest.

Share this with someone supporting a new mom, or let it change how you show up for her 💛

Why is it so hard to ask for help…even when you’re running on empty?

Because many of us were taught (directly or indirectly) that being a “good” mom means handling it all.

But your body doesn’t interpret it that way.

When you’re chronically sleep deprived, your nervous system is under strain.

Everything feels heavier, more urgent, and harder to carry on your own.

Support isn’t something you wait to deserve at burnout.

It’s something your system needs before you get there.

You’re allowed to need help while you’re still holding things together.

You’re allowed to be supported without proving how hard it is first.

If this resonates, take it as a quiet nudge, not to push through, but to let yourself be supported a little sooner.

We’d love to send you our free newborn sleep guide to help you get the rest you deserve. Comment “GUIDE” to download it 💛

Today is International Day of the Midwife, and it's a good reminder:

Medical expertise matters in early parenthood.

You wouldn't skip your midwife appointments during pregnancy. You trusted professional guidance then.

So why do we act like postpartum support is optional?

Here's what nurse-led newborn care actually provides:

💛 Evidence-based sleep strategies tailored to YOUR baby
💛 C-section recovery support that honors your healing timeline
💛 Education that reduces anxiety and builds confidence

This isn't luxury. It's continuation of care.

Your body just did something extraordinary. Your baby is learning to exist outside the womb. You both deserve professional support during this transition.

Comment "OVERNIGHT" if you want to learn more about what nurse-led overnight support actually looks like.

It’s Maternal Mental Health Month, and here’s what doesn’t get said enough:

Sleep deprivation isn’t just exhausting.
It’s a physiological stressor.

If you feel more anxious, overwhelmed, or unlike yourself, that’s not failure. That’s your nervous system under strain.

For most of human history, new mothers weren’t doing this alone. There was built-in support. People to share the load, protect rest, and care for both mother and baby.

Now, many moms are expected to function without that same level of support…and to feel like they should be able to handle it.

But your body hasn’t evolved to do this alone.

Rest isn’t a luxury.
It’s essential support.

And asking for help so you can sleep isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a reflection of what care is meant to look like.

If you’re realizing you need more support right now, this is exactly why we offer overnight care.

Designed to feel like a true postpartum concierge experience, calm, nurturing, and deeply supportive, so you can actually rest.

A qualified specialist cares for your baby through the night, supporting feeds, settling, and sleep, while you wake up to a reset space and clear guidance for the days ahead.

We currently have a waitlist open for overnight support in Vancouver and are taking clients in Squamish, BC.

May is Better Sleep Month, and if you’re in the thick of newborn sleep chaos right now, you need to hear this:

You’re not doing anything wrong.

Newborn sleep isn’t broken, it’s just wildly different from adult sleep. Here’s what’s actually happening:

💛 Newborns have 45-60 minute sleep cycles (adults have 90-120 min)
💛 Their stomachs are cherry-sized at birth, they NEED to wake to eat
💛 They don’t produce melatonin until 3-4 months
💛 Their nervous systems are still developing, they need help regulating
💛 Different babies have different sleep needs, there’s no one-size-fits-all (just like adults!)

This isn’t a problem to fix overnight. It’s a developmental stage that requires support.

If you’re feeling like you’re drowning in the exhaustion, that’s not weakness. That’s your body telling you it needs rest.

Comment GUIDE” and I’ll send you our guide to understanding newborn sleep patterns, with realistic expectations and gentle strategies that actually work.
