Vancouver School of Theology is excited to announce that registration is now open for the O’Driscoll Forum on Preaching and the Arts.
This year, the forum will take place as a two-day gathering from June 14–15 at Christ Church Cathedral Vancouver and VST.
The theme “Encountered by the Holy” answers : What does it mean to be encountered by the holy—not as an abstract idea, but as an event of personal encounter that shapes how we speak, listen, and respond?
Through preaching, artistic expression, and shared reflection, participants are invited to consider how encounters with the holy can interrupt, reorient, and inspire our ways of being in the world.
The program features a public lecture by Craig Barnes and a concert featuring Julian Davis Reid, alongside preaching and a panel conversation.
Registration is required, with options to attend the full forum or select individual events.
