In this phrase:
“嚇到” (xià dào) means “to be scared” or “to be startled.”
“吃手手” (chī shǒu shǒu) literally means “eat hands,” but “手手” (shǒu shǒu) is a cute way of saying “hands” and reflects childlike or playful speech.
