Meet our RESET Learning team! 🧠📚 If you’ve visited us, you’ve probably seen him around! 👋 Today, we’re introducing Hamza Hasan, our Centre Director. 🌟

Hamza’s love for reading and writing led him to study at McGill University, and he speaks both English and French. 🇨🇦 He has worked in education for over 6 years, with a special interest in the BC Curriculum, learning methodologies, and helping learners thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

He wants everyone to feel welcome and heard. If you have a question, he’ll be there for you, even if it’s just for a quick chat! 💬

When he’s not at RESET, you can find Hamza exploring some pretty unique hobbies! From scuba diving and photography to acting and even blacksmithing, there’s always something new to discover.

We’re lucky to have someone with so many interests and talents as part of the RESET Team! 💗

-5 min break
🔁 Repeat 4 times, then take a longer break!

At RESET, we believe learning starts with understanding how you and your brain works. We give learners practical tools to build better study habits and become more independent learners. 🫶

Students are told that flashcards are great for studying, but how do we use them effectively? 🫣📝

The key is to actively recall the answer instead of simply reading it over and over again. Try covering the answer, testing yourself, and reviewing the cards you find most challenging. 💭

At RESET Learning, we help learners develop study strategies that go beyond memorizing, so that they are able to retain information and become more independent learners. 🫶

That's why every session starts with movement to activate the brain and improve focus during lessons. 🤓📝

At RESET, we believe that learners should energize both their minds and their bodies, so you can stay engaged and ready to learn! 🫶

Stop trying to write down everything your teacher says. ✍️❌
Many students go to school every day without knowing how to take effective notes. 🫣

That's why, at RESET Learning, we've created a space where learners develop note-taking skills 📝 that help them focus on the most important ideas instead of trying to copy every word.

These strategies can be applied in every lesson 📚🫶, making studying more effective, reducing stress, and helping learners retain information with confidence.
