š²Got an old bike collecting dust? Donāt leave it behindādonate or recycle it! UBC partners with to give bikes a second life, whether through refurbishment or recycling. ā»ļøš±

The Bike Kitchen accepts bikes in all conditions (along with bicycle accessories and parts) except for e-bikes with batteries. Bikes that can be refurbished will be, and those that canāt, will be stripped of parts and recycled.ā£

Abandoned bikes left on bike racks, lockers, or cages take up space and make it harder for other cyclists. Be part of the solutionārecycle, donate, and keep UBC rolling!⣠š“ā”ļøAt the end of April, all abandoned bikes and bike accessories left on bike racks, lockers and cages will have been tagged and will be removed.

The planning process to update the Wesbrook Place Neighbourhood Plan, with a focus on a new area of the neighbourhood, Wesbrook Place South, is continuing. This is the first major step in implementing Campus Vision 2050 and UBC wants to hear from you.
Input from the community in fall 2024, along with technical and design work, was used to develop a draft plan. Key elements of the draft plan will be shared with the community for feedback from Feb 4 - 23. Fill out the survey or attend an upcoming event!

The update to the Wesbrook Place Neighbourhood Plan will focus on a new area of the neighbourhood, Wesbrook Place South, adding more UBC housing over the next 10 years, new amenities, open spaces and child care, as well as transportation improvements in the surrounding neighbourhood area.

- Follow the opening and closing times to ensure your own safety and the safety of others.
- Refrain from playing loud and amplified music so that fellow park goers can enjoy natureās own soundtrack.
- Carry your garbage and recycling out.
- No alcohol consumption, as itās not permitted.
