🔥This week in Maker's Club, we're heating things up! Over the past few weeks, our makers have been learning about how engineers, product designers, and fabricators make for 3 purposes: to use, to show, and to share.

As we ramp up for the holiday season, our makers have been making to share. Our Maker's Club project this week: Pixel Art Magnets! Our young scientists are learning about how heat can be used to change the shape of matter as it liquifies certain materials – especially plastic.

This winter, our makers dive into projects that focus on meaningful making: projects kids can build, use, share and bring home as a proud reminder of what they learned. From STEM creations to winter crafts, every day is about turning ideas into something real.

All good engineers practice iterative design – making things over and over until they’re just right!

At MiniMakers, our design cycle is modelled after the one that engineers and designers use. We dream by brainstorming, ideating, and researching – including finding out more about our clients and new tools.
Then, we create prototypes and plans to help communicate our ideas.
Then, we build a good copy – like a good copy of a book! Finally, we inspire others by sharing our creations. And after that, we dream, dream, and dream again. ✨
