Photo re-cap from Nationals. My top lifts and me and coach. I think the only time I wasn’t smiling was when I was mid-lift. What a great time 💪❤️

Last session before Nationals is done and the gym is put away. I am so thankful for this space and what it has taught me.
*
This will be the highest level of competition I’ve ever been a part of and I am so honoured and proud of myself for making it to this point. I don’t expect to place (there’s literal Olympians there) but I do expect to hit my goals, have fun, and fan-girl a little (ok maybe a lot).
*
Thanks for everyone who has sent encouraging messages and given me words of support; a little goes a long way and it means a lot.

Can’t wait for Saturday 🏋️‍♂️❤️🏋️‍♂️❤️!!

111kg. Brick by brick. It’s a 1kg PR which may not seem like much but that’s the name of the game! Another great lifting day!

Well did it again. Captured another goodie of me. Suffice to say, I won’t be missing 88 again.

Just over a month ago (June 21st), Christina PR’d her back squat at 300lbs.
*
Today she moved 305 with ease and we went up to 315. First attempt, she came forward and didn’t complete. This was the second attempt.
*
Not only is it a HUGE amount of weight to push but to do it after bailing shows her mental strength. To say Christina has come a long way in our time together would be an understatement and I couldn’t be more proud of how far she’s come.
*
Good job, Christina. You kick ASS!!! 💪💪

90kg (March 24) versus 100kg (July 5th).
10kg more on the bar and 5kg lighter in body weight.
*
I remember this 90 feeling tough and being scared of it whereas today, 100 felt heavy but I wasn’t afraid.
*
Really happy with this and the progress I’ve made both physically and mentally. I’m looking forward to growing these numbers even more💪.
