Thanks to the incredible efforts of our LOOP Network clinic partners, we’ve diverted over 5.5 kilograms (12.2 lbs) of plastic from the landfill — just from pill vials alone! 🌎✨

That’s about the weight of a bowling ball 🎳 or 12 plastic water bottles 💧— all now part of a circular, sustainable future for the veterinary industry.

This Veterinary Technology grad is fighting plastic pollution in her industry - Douglas 360° Veterinary Technology (VTEC) alumnus, Jocelyn Marsh connects veterinary medicine with ocean stewardship in an effort to save nearly 2.7 million plastic needles and syringes per year.

Since joining the LOOP Network, has done an incredible job working with their clients to promote plastic recycling in their hospital. 110 pill vials since May! Without the help of the amazing team members who collect and log the pill vial data, and clients bringing their pet’s pill vials back to the clinic, this sustainability movement wouldn’t exist. A huge thank you to everyone involved!
