Tik Tok Content Creator Internship (Unpaid)

- Support the social media team in developing a TikTok social strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy.

- Create daily content for the newly launched TikTok account

- Engage with TikTok followers and monitor conversations from the brand’s voice.

- Identify and communicate with up-and-coming TikTok influencers and creators

- Keep your pulse on the latest TikTok and emerging platform trends, and propose ideas on how we can show up on these platforms.

- Work together with the social team to understand performance and growth metrics in order to adjust creative for optimizing posts.

- Participate in brainstorms and content ideation

- Be self-sufficient with producing your own content

Qualifications

- Be a student at a college or university

- Passion for education, technology, and strong interest in the social and digital space.

- Significant experience as a TikTok creator, with knowledge of what performs well on the platform and what doesn't

- History of creating content that performed well and drove attention whether for yourself or a partner

- Creative, innovative personality that is always thinking outside of the box.

Tuter is an early-stage EdTech startup that is focused on making education more personal and accessible for students of all ages. Tuter is looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to help accelerate growth and explore new business models.

What’s the opportunity?

As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing our marketing and growth programs. You will be able to roll up your sleeves to get started and will work to attract new talent to help you execute on the strategy you develop.

What will I be doing?

You will take full ownership of our online presence and customer acquisition programs, while also helping to explore new business models.

Example work in this role:

Create and own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new products & features. You will set clear objectives and goals, research and define target audiences, develop marketing and communication strategies, and measure adoption. You will also conduct customer research and apply your insights to these and other initiatives.

Drive the evolution of our brand positioning, bringing it to life in a clear and consistent way that resonates with and motivates our target audiences. You will promote the company as an innovator to the press and public and oversee outbound customer-facing communications across our website, blog, and social channels.

Collaborate and lead across the organization. You will represent the voice of the customer within the organization, bringing your insights to cross-functional stakeholders.

Create a solid business plan. You will create a business plan that provides strategic direction, using an understanding of the company’s core operations, competitive advantages, and goals to provide direction on how to structure, run, and grow the business.

What skills do I need?

Demonstrable experience developing and executing go-to-market plans for SaaS platforms, or a strong understanding of the aforementioned.

You are a self-starter, organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize your work;

Strong analytical and writing skills. You are comfortable with data and analytics, and you can clearly communicate your results and ideas.

Ideal candidates will have some previous startup experience and/or familiarity with the education/EdTech industry.

Compensation

While Tuter is currently generating revenue, it is an early-stage startup that has not yet raised funding. Therefore, initially the compensation for this position will consist solely of equity and profit sharing. Once revenues have have increased and angel/VC funds have been raised, the compensation for this position will be supplemented with a market-based salary.

What skills do I need?

Demonstrable experience developing and executing go-to-market plans for SaaS platforms, including targeted paid advertising, online and offline events, and content marketing (white papers, case studies, and blogging etc.);

You are a self-starter, organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize your work;

Strong analytical and writing skills. You are comfortable with data and analytics, and you can clearly communicate your results and ideas.

Ideal candidates should have some experience working in a start-up environment and/or education/EdTech industry.
