The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is an economic immigration scheme which provides a route to permanent residency for workers, entrepreneurs and businesses that address B.C.'s labour market and economic development requirements. The programme enables the province to choose and nominate potential immigrants by means of different streams of immigration.
Those applicants who are successfully nominated by the BC PNP as part of one of its immigration programs may apply for permanent residence in Canada.

Here's some very good news to give you!
The spots on the Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) are still available and applications for the Bachelor of Hospitality Management (BHM) programme are currently being accepted for those applying offshore.
We recommend that, if you have international students who may wish to study in Canada, you submit their applications as early as possible because the number of PALs is limited and they are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Medical Laboratory Assistant (10 months, $19,400)

Is the Health Care Assistant (HCA) program a good pathway for someone hoping to obtain permanent residency in Canada?
Designated as one of the priority occupations within the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program and also in the Provincial Nominee Programs of other provinces in Canada, it is, in fact, an occupation that is in demand.
The sole problem with this diploma program is that it does not provide the PAL (Provincial Attestation Letter) to international students since the program is short, with the exception of Vancouver Community College, which offers a two-year program.
• Which schools do you recommend for the HCA program, and why?
If she is certain she will go through the HCA program, Vancouver Community College is the best option. She can get a 3-year open work permit because she has a PGWP (Post-Graduation Work Permit).
• What is the estimated tuition and other school-related costs? The total tuition fee is CAD$50,420.00, and the total deposit is CAD$13,000, of which CAD$ 10,000 is non-refundable.
Other related expenses include upfront medical, airfare, and immigration fees totalling $150.00, and proof of funds for at least 2 years totalling $45,790.
• What are your professional fees for assisting with the study permit application and the overall process?
I don't charge her for my help with her enrollment, for giving her advice, and for carrying on discussions with the school about her enrollment, and so on. As for her study permit application, it would be best to employ an immigration consultant or a lawyer. I work with an immigration lawyer because he is cheaper than the immigration consultant for certain reasons. She should make the decision herself. The fee for the immigration lawyer is $2,500, without the immigration fees.
• After completing the course, obtaining a work permit (if eligible), and meeting all the requirements, what are the chances or possible pathways of obtaining permanent residency? HCA has a pathway to permanent residency.
• Are there any other programs you would recommend that may offer a better pathway to permanent residency?
She can select any of the diploma programs listed below, which provide a route to permanent residency, provided that her qualifications, education, and work experience match the situation. Moreover, even if there is no connection to her present circumstances, she is still free to choose any of these programs to make a career change.
41300 Social workers
42201 Social and community service workers
SELC College provides a Diploma program in Social and Community Social Services which includes a Co-Op component. The entire length of the program is 19.5 months, comprising 9.5 months of academic study and 10 months of co-op, during which students receive paid on-the-job training. The current tuition fee is $18,420.00, and payment of the full amount is required, with a non-refundable $350.00 payment due if her visa application is rejected.
This program doesn’t have a PGWP, so she needs to find an employer before her study permit expires.
