GELP is a social enterprise aimed at developing leadership programs for students

At GELP, we aim to provide relevant skill-based learning and experiences that challenge our next generation to discover themselves in their reflective journey and to identify their next career or pathway. Our team consists of Indigenous knowledge keepers, Indigenous Elders, Academic Executive Leadership and organizers from entrepreneurship and social innovation backgrounds (full list of our members can be found at www.gelp.ca).

The Impact Leaders Camp is a leadership program that empowers youth to become engaged, compassionate, and action-oriented leaders.

Through a partnership between Camp Al-Ummah and the GELP Foundation, 80 participants will take part in 3 service-learning projects alongside 9 community partner organizations.

Participants will develop leadership skills through experiential learning, cultural intelligence, community service, reflection, and teamwork while gaining real-world experience and discovering how they can create a lasting positive impact in their communities.
