On June 4th, our UMS students participated in Jump Rope for Heart, a fun and meaningful event that promotes healthy living while supporting an important cause. Throughout the day, students challenged themselves, stayed active, and demonstrated incredible enthusiasm as they skipped, jumped, and worked together to make a difference.
We are proud of our students for their energy, sportsmanship, and commitment to helping others. Events like Jump Rope for Heart remind us that staying active and giving back to the community can go hand in hand. Thank you to all of our students, staff, and families who supported this wonderful event and helped make it a success!

âThe garden is the childâs first classroom, where nature quietly teaches patience, care, and wonder.â Â In every garden, children discover independence, curiosity, and a deep love for the natural world.â Â A garden is such a natural extension of Montessori learning, where children can connect directly with nature through hands-on experience. Watching them explore soil, plant seeds, water plants, and observe growth builds patience, responsibility, and curiosity in such an authentic way. Nature becomes their classroom, and every leaf, insect, and changing season turns into an opportunity for discovery. Itâs beautiful to see how children develop independence and care for the environment simply by being present in a garden space.

Today, our school participated in the Cereal Box Challenge! Our students brought in over 200+ cereal boxes to create an amazing giant domino effect throughout the school.
All cereal boxes will be donated to the food bank to help support families in our community. We would like to thank all of our parents and families for contributing cereal boxes and helping make this activity both fun and meaningful for our students. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated!
