We have 7 students currently enrolled in our elementary school. We also have one caretaker.

Ben McIntyre School commitments are reflected on it's vision, mission and values and goals. In alignment with the province and school division, we are committed to focus on student learning and the School Learning Improvement Plan. In addition, we are dedicated to collaborative efforts by Professional Learning Communities and Smart Goals. VALUES

SCHOOL PROFILE
Ben McIntyre School has 15 students taught by two teachers along with one educational assistant. The school itself has two active classroom, a library/computer room, a gym, a fitness room, a children's learning center and a kitchen.

Athabasca Health Holistic Family Wellness hosted Uranium City Cultural Camp 2026. From the airport, Kawanis Beach, Goldfields, Crackingstone, and many more landmarks, we found laughter, healing, knowledge, resiliency in helping us honor our roots and connect the generations further. Our people in the community are appreciated. Thank you to elders, Shannon Kormos and her team, facilitators, camp helpers, cooks, tour guides, volunteers and everyone who come out.

There was a change in plans for the Truck Wash pt.1 afternoon. The staff & students walked and picked up some garbage around the community kinda since we didn't complete it on the annual Earth Day. Later on, we learned June 5th was World Environment Day. They did a good deed and were happy with it.
