⚠️ Community Notice ⚠️

Dear friends,

We have recently become aware that a scam email has been sent to many members of our community. The message falsely claims that our organization's contact list is available for sale and encourages recipients to reply for more information.

We want to reassure everyone that we have never sold, rented, or shared our contact list, and we never will. The privacy and trust of our community are deeply important to us, and we take any attempt to misuse our name or reputation very seriously.

We have reported this incident to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and are taking appropriate steps to address the situation.

If you receive this email, please:
• Do not reply to it.
• Do not click on any links or attachments.
• Delete the message immediately.
• Report it as spam or phishing if your email provider offers that option.

Unfortunately, scams like these have become increasingly common, and fraudsters often rely on curiosity or urgency to encourage people to engage with them. We encourage everyone to remain cautious and to verify any unusual communications through official channels.

Thank you to the members of our community who brought this to our attention so quickly. Your vigilance helps protect not only yourself, but everyone connected to our organization.

We appreciate your continued trust and support, and we will keep you informed if there are any additional relevant details.

Living yoga is not about perfect poses. It’s about conscious choices.
It’s how we navigate discomfort.

How do we repair when we misstep?
How do we return to breath when the mind spirals?

To live yoga is to let the teachings move through your relationships, your work, your community.

What does living yoga look like in your life?

For ongoing reflections and accessible philosophy teachings, visit SOYA Yoga on Pinterest and YouTube.

Teaching from the heart isn’t about sounding knowledgeable.
It’s about being rooted in lived practice.

When empathy informs your tone and embodied wisdom informs your choices, something subtle shifts, AND students feel safe enough to explore.

That safety is where real transformation begins.

Save this post for your next teaching day and share it with a teacher who leads from the heart.

Over the years, our programs have been rooted in growth, dialogue, and sincere practice. Our decision to pause was not reactive — it was intentional.

In yoga, we understand that sustainable expansion requires integration. Just as the breath moves in rhythm, there are moments to build and moments to recalibrate.

This season is our exhale.

Through consistent teachings, a curated resource hub, and expanded content across Pinterest, YouTube, our blog, and newsletter, we’ll continue to support your practice in ways that are steady, accessible, and thoughtfully structured.

Our programs will return in 2027 — clearer, deeper, and aligned with this next evolution of SOYA.

Thank you for walking alongside us.

Stay connected through our newsletter and online platforms for continued support and embodied learning.

What does yoga mean to you beyond the mat?
Beyond the shapes.
Beyond the sequencing.
Beyond the hour you carve out for practice.

Is it how you pause before reacting?
How do you listen more carefully?
How do you notice your breath when the day feels full?

Yoga, at its root, is a relationship.
To your body.
To your nervous system.
To your choices.
To the people around you.

The mat is a laboratory. Life is where the practice reveals itself.
I’m curious- How does your yoga show up off the mat?

To teach from the heart is to teach from experience—not just information.

Empathy reminds us we are guiding human beings, not correcting shapes. Embodied knowledge reminds us we’ve walked the path ourselves.

When you’ve stayed in the discomfort…
When you’ve met your own resistance…
When you’ve softened instead of forced…

Your teaching changes. It becomes less performative, more relational, steady and clear.
Human.

Students don’t just learn how to move; they feel safe enough to explore, and that is the real work.

What does teaching from the heart mean to you?
