Summer is for enjoying the good stuff - the longer days, vacations, patios, time with family and friends, a little more ice cream, and maybe a few extra lazy mornings!
But as we start to feel that shift toward fall, we start to think about the routines and habits that help us feel our best.
What is one thing you're ready to commit to this fall?
Maybe it's getting back to your regular strength workouts, taking a walk several times a week, drinking more water, getting back to nourishing, balanced meals, creating a better evening routine, putting your workouts on the calendar and treating them like an appointment or making time for yourself again. The possibilities are endless!
Think about how you want to feel this fall - stronger, more energized, more balanced, more connected - and choose one habit that will help you get there.
Your challenge this week: What is ONE thing you will commit to as we transition from summer into fall? Share it in the comments! Putting it out there makes it a little more real, and maybe you'll inspire someone else to make a commitment too.
Here's to the unfolding of a new season, fresh routines and feeling our best! ๐๐ช

As women moving through midlife, we need to focus on staying STRONG! ๐ช
Strength training isn't just about how you look in the mirror. It's about how you feel, how you move and how you live your life.
Building and maintaining muscle can help you: carry your groceries with ease, lift your grandchildren, climb stairs with confidence, improve balance and stability, support strong, healthy bones, maintain muscle as you age, support your metabolism, make everyday activities easier and feel more capable and confident in your body!
You don't have to be an athlete. You don't have to lift huge weights. And you don't have to spend hours in the gym. You simply need to challenge your muscles consistently and give your body a reason to stay strong. That might mean picking up a pair of dumbbells, doing squats, pushing, pulling, carrying, or even working with your own body weight.
So the next time you pick up a weight, don't just think about the workout you're doing today. Think about the woman you're building for tomorrow.โค๏ธ
What's one thing you can do now that you couldn't do a year ago?๐

In these hot temps, keep cool . . . but keep moving friends!
With a little summer heatwave upon us, it's easy to hit the pause button on our fitness routines. But instead, think of this as an opportunity to get creative!
Movement doesn't have to be long or intense to make a difference, especially on these hot days! Try a few bodyweight exercises in your living room, a gentle yoga session, a walk early in the morning before the heat sets in, or some stretching in the evening as the temperatures cool down.
A few reminders during these hot summer days:
- Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
- Choose the cooler parts of the day if you're exercising outdoors.
- Wear light, breathable clothing and don't forget your sunscreen.
- Most important, listen to your body and adjust your activity as needed. ๐

Summer can be one of the busiest times of the year. Between family commitments, vacations, work, yard projects, and trying to make the most of the warm weather, it's easy to put yourself at the bottom of the priority list.
But taking a little time for yourself isn't selfish - it's essential!
Whether it's an early morning walk, a yoga class, sitting quietly with a cup of coffee, reading a good book, paddling on the water, gardening, or simply enjoying a few moments of peace in nature, those small pockets of downtime can help you recharge both physically and mentally.
When we take care of ourselves, we show up better for everyone else in our lives.
This week, we encourage you to carve out a little time that's just for YOU. We'd love to hear from youโwhat's your favorite way to slow down, recharge, and enjoy some downtime during the summer months?
