Congratulations to our male athlete of the week!

🌟 Dominic Ramirez - MSOC

The first year midfielder kicked-off his university career with a bang this past weekend, earning himself man of the match in his first ACAC appearance. This accolade was well-earned by his efforts working to hold off an aggressive Kodiaks offence Saturday afternoon. He continued this momentum into the Lions season opener against Olds Sunday afternoon. Ramirez netted two incredible goals and solidified a comanding victory for Ambrose.

Congratulations to our female athlete of the week!

🌟 Liselle Correa - WSOC

Liselle Correa made her mark on ACAC soccer quickly this weekend, being a force for all her opponents.

On Saturday afternoon in Lethbridge, Correa covered all field positions possible, playing up front on forward, dominating the midfield, and shutting down the Kodiaks on defence. Her versatility was needed and earned her player of the game. When the Lions came home on Sunday, her constant presence on the field and support for her teammates helped secure Ambrose's first point for the 2026 season.
