The 68th Cohort had the honour of receiving their completion certificates for the Garnet Key Society, marking the end of a truly meaningful chapter. What began as an opportunity to serve the community became a journey filled with friendships, growth, laughter and memories that we will carry with us for years to come.
We are incredibly grateful for the mentors, peers and experiences that shaped us along the way. While this chapter may be ending, the lessons we’ve learned and the connections we’ve made will remain with us forever. ❤️✨ A special honourable mention to our fellow Garnet Key members who were unable to join us for pictures; (Lila), ( Maame), Mara, Yohan and (Richard)

We are grateful to have attended the Breakfast with the President, a meaningful opportunity to connect with Dr. Graham Carr and the rest of Concordia’s president’s office to reflect on the work our society has carried out throughout the year!
With the continued support and sponsorship of the Office of the President, the Garnet Key Society remains proud to represent Concordia at official events, support the university community and contribute to meaningful initiatives beyond campus. This breakfast gave us the opportunity to speak more deeply about our experiences as student ambassadors, the events we have been part of, the communities we have connected with and the impact we have worked toward this year.
We are grateful for the chance to continue serving Concordia and we look forward to carrying this spirit forward!

The Garnet Key Society was honoured to attend a fireside chat with Gina McCarty, former White House National Climate Advisor and former administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. 🤩 She is a leading voice in climate policy and public health, as well as the recipient of Concordia’s honorary doctorate this year. Hearing from someone whose leadership has shaped climate action at the highest levels made for a thoughtful and inspiring discussion on advocacy, public service and meaningful change.

LStill thinking about how incredible our Sustainable Market turned out ♻️✨
Thank you so much to everyone who showed up, thrifted, donated, spun the wheel and brought such amazing energy to the space. Seeing so many of you come out and engage with the event truly meant a lot to us. What started as a simple idea turned into something genuinely special and that’s entirely because of the Concordia community.
Everything raised goes directly back into what we do as Garnet Keys, from the initiatives we run to the ways we give back on campus. 🤍
We’re so grateful for your support, thank you for making this all possible. 🤩

On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience and achievements of women around the world. Today is a reminder of the many ways women lead, support one another and create meaningful change in their communities every day.
At the Garnet Key Society, we are grateful for the inspiring women within our own cohort whose leadership, dedication, and passion contribute so much to our community.
Happy Women’s Day.❤️

Our card-making event was a wonderful success, thanks to everyone who stopped by to write a message of kindness for the Norman Fortier Lodge. Together, we created dozens of heartfelt messages that will be shared with residents, bringing comfort and encouragement during the holiday season. 💌✨
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to for partnering with us and providing delicious pizza for everyone. 🍕❤️

Convocations are always such powerful moments celebrating dedication, growth, and new beginnings. We had the honour of participating in this year’s ceremonies by carrying the flags on behalf of the university. As members of the Garnet Key Society, it was a privilege to contribute in a small way to such a meaningful milestone in so many students’ lives. Congratulations to the Class of 2025. 🎓🔑🇨🇦
