Need a break from studying? LUSU Seeds Of Creativity is back! Come relieve some stress, paint a planter, and plant a seed across from Wolfie's Cafe from 10 AM - 3 PM today, Friday April 17th.

From Thunder Bay to Orillia and Barrie to Queen’s Park, students, workers, and communities showed up. 📢
While and students rallied on campus in Thunder Bay, students from our Orillia and Barrie campuses travelled to Queen’s Park to join students from across Ontario calling for accessible, well-funded, public education.
For many students in northern and rural communities, and from working class backgrounds, OSAP is what makes post-secondary education possible. When grants are cut and costs go up, it’s not just about money — it’s about whether students can afford to be in school at all. A bright future shouldn't be a debt sentence.
Public funding choices reflect political priorities. Students, workers, and communities across the province are making it clear: education must be one of them.

Students across Ontario are mobilising to defend public education! 📢
Cuts to OSAP, rising tuition and student costs, and changes under Bill 33 are putting post-secondary education further out of reach. Students, workers, and community members are coming together at Queen’s Park to say: .
LUSU is organising a free charter bus to Toronto on March 24 so students from Orillia, Barrie, and the surrounding area can attend the rally organised by CFS Ontario // FCÉÉ Ontario, CUPE Ontario, and OPSEU.
