Another stand out for men’s basketball! All the way from Istanbul, Turkey, Broncos Country is thrilled to welcome Yigit Huseyinoglu to the 2026-27 roster! The 6’8” power forward brings dynamic game play knowledge that will help provide strong results on the court. Yigit is pursuing a Sports Management education at Olds College. Welcome to the family, Yigit! 🏀🐎

Coach John and the men’s basketball team are thrilled to welcome Roan Fildes to the roster this season! Standing at 6’8”, the Edge alumni is joining Olds College in pursuit of a Sports Management education. Roan’s skillset, size, and ability to find the shot will be a huge advantage on the court. Welcome to Broncos Country, Roan! 🏀🐎

This past weekend, Broncos women’s soccer athletes and staff had the opportunity to participate in the 2026 Girls Power Weekend hosted by Crossfield Minor Soccer Association. The weekend was created to “ensure every girl who attends leaves believing in herself a little more than when she arrived”. The Broncos were able to run training sessions with female athletes from a variety of ages to provide their experience and knowledge to the next generation.

Athletics manager, Rachel Cunningham had the pleasure of presenting about unlocking the next level as a female athlete. Rachel spoke on topics including everything from youth sports, to post secondary success, to female leadership. Additionally, women’s soccer athlete Joy Watson spoke about her experience as a student-athlete.

Thank you to Crossfield Minor Soccer Association for welcoming members of Broncos Country to participate in an impactful weekend elevating female athletes. 💙⚽️

Broncos Country is excited to welcome Olivia Blumhagen to the women's soccer team for the 2026-27 season! Olivia comes to Olds College from Fernie, BC and brings athleticism and versatility to the line up. Capable of playing every position on the pitch including keeper, Olivia will be a valuable addition! We can't wait to see her in Broncos Blue! Welcome to the herd, Olivia! ⚽🐎

Another stellar addition for men's volleyball, Zac Ryan. A Canada West U18 alumni, Zac brings solid experience to the Broncos and will be joining the roster as a setter this season. Broncos Country is excited to welcome Zac to the herd and look forward to seeing him contribute both on and off the court as he begins his collegiate career. Welcome, Zac! 🏐🐎

Men's volleyball is growing! Welcoming Beckett Rogers to Broncos Country for the 2026-27 season! The outside hitter will be joining Olds College all the way from Edam, Saskatchewan to wear Broncos Blue on the court. He brings heightened experience and exceptional ball IQ and will make a great addition to the men's volleyball program. Welcome, Beckett! 🏐🐎
