Hello Friends!!

As we get ready to start a new school year we have a very limited spaces left for 3 year old preschool (2021 birth year) and 4 year old class (2020 birth year) starting in September at Little Friends Preschool.

We are a play based preschool where social and emotional development is a primary focus in our three year old class. Our teachers are experienced early childhood educators and are on the floor with the children to facilitate cooperation and problem solving. Our schedule is structured yet flexible and offers opportunity for play and learning through a variety of developmentally appropriate hands on activities. Our daily circle times introduce children's literature, music and movement.

We follow the Delta School District calendar and our classes run

3 year old class- Tuesday/Thursdays 9:00-1:00
4 year old class- Monday/Wednesday/Fridays 9:00-1:00

Little Friends Preschool has qualified staff that create an exciting and welcoming environment for children to learn through play and exploration. We have created a rich and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to be self confident, curious, creative and explorative.

What a great month with our friends! We were busy planting sunflower seeds, learning about recycling/Earth Day and how we can help our environment, having a blast at Elite Kids and making playdough. We look forward to more exploration and adventures in May 🙂

Hello friends!!

Our daily circle times introduce children's literature, music and movement. Our extended class allows for extended outdoor play time.

Additionally, our interest list for September 2025 (2022 babies) opens up on May 1st! The first 20 families to email will have priority.

It was a great month with our little friends as we enjoyed dressing up for our fairy tale theme, celebrating Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day and Family Day! We went exploring in the wooden playground, learned about Pink Shirt Day, made slime and worked on our printing 🙂 We look forward to continue learning and growing at Little Friends!

We had a blast this past month at preschool! We enjoyed a week of snow experiments with our friends which included crystal snowflakes, fake snow and winter storms. We also enjoyed all of the snow we got, while we made snowmen, snow angels and footprints. We had a hot chocolate and timbit treat to warm us up from the cold before our friends learned about groundhog day and created handprint groundhogs to be displayed in the classroom. Our friends were busy enjoying the race cars, dolls, dress-up, Lego, superheroes, printing and free art! We look forward to fun activities and themes this February.

What a great month with our friends! We had a great time learning about Remembrance Day, Diwali, hibernation and bears. We got cozy in our PJs and even brought our favourite stuffed animals to share with our friends! For art we created fork painted bears, handprint poppies, painted tea lights and winter wonderlands. We look forward to a fun month ahead this December with lots of theme days and holiday treats. ♥️

October was a busy month for our friends as we had lots of fun getting ready for Halloween. Our friends learned all about Thanksgiving, farms and farm animals, pumpkins and Halloween. We were even lucky enough to head to Emma Lea Farms for a pumpkin patch field trip, where we learned the lifecycle of a pumpkin, fed donkeys and read some great jokes in the oat maze. Each class picked out a pumpkin that we carved together for Halloween and our friends were great helpers scooping out all of the seeds and guts. We then planted two seeds and have enjoyed watching them grow over the past few weeks! We look forward to a fun-filled November with our little friends.

What a great first month back at preschool for our little friends! They were busy exploring the classroom and enjoyed playing with the Lego, dinosaurs, playdough and table time activities. Our friends also helped to make apple sauce, apple pie smelling playdough and created some wonderful art pieces that have been added to their art books and on the classroom windows. We also enjoyed lots of outdoor time with the beautiful weather we had and look forward to more nature walks, playground time and exploration!
