Registration is now open for CDA’s Annual Development Weekend! We're so excited to have Darryl Tracy, Larry Graves and Robert "Ballet Bob" McCollum back for another exciting year, and we are THRILLED to welcome Bonnie Kim to the teaching faculty for this year!!
This four-day intensive invites dancers into an immersive training experience rooted in technique, creation, and exploration. Guided by a phenomenal group of faculty, participants will engage in Ballet, Modern, Improv, Music, and Composition — with each morning beginning with a clinic-style class to cultivate awareness and set intention.
A weekend dedicated to deepening artistry, strengthening foundations, and embracing curiosity, connection, and creative risk-taking within a supportive and inspiring environment.
February 13–16 at CDA
Ages 8+ with options for adult dancers and professional movement artists.

We’re thrilled to welcome ballroom dance instructor Jack Gillett to Cobequid Dance Academy for an all-new Beginner Ballroom Series — with one class for adults and one for teens (ages 13+)!
No partner? No problem.
No experience? Even better.
This relaxed and welcoming class is perfect for total beginners looking to learn classic, joyful dances like Cha-Cha, Waltz, Tango, and Jive. Come ready to move, laugh, and discover the magic of ballroom dancing in a fun, supportive environment.
