The Canadian Agri-food Marketers Alliance (CAMA) sees the value in encouraging more students to get excited about marketing and to become aware of the vast array of job opportunities in the agri-food industry. They want to help bridge the connection between students and leading ag marketing companies by bringing them together for an industry event.

They're excited to share an exciting opportunity for students studying agriculture and with a passion for marketing. They're announcing the 3rd Annual CAMA Agri-Food Marketing Case Competition taking place in conjunction with our CAMA Level Up Conference and Best of CAMA on November 5-7, 2025 at the Hilton Meadowvale, Mississauga, ON.

On Wednesday, November 5, students will be provided with the case content and have 24-hours to prepare a marketing plan presentation. Each team will be allocated a industry coach for a 2 hour timeframe on the Wednesday afternoon from 4PM – 6PM. The presentations will take place on the Thursday afternoon with conference attendees encouraged to sit in and listen to these amazing presentations from our future ag leaders. The winners will be announced during the Best of CAMA awards gala on Thursday evening to approx. 200 ag marketers and communicators. Not only will students build their knowledge and passion for ag marketing, students will also have the opportunity to network with industry ag leaders (future employers).

2025 CABEF Scholarships Are Now OPEN! 🌱

We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for seven $2,500 scholarships from the Canadian Agri-Business Education Foundation (CABEF)!

If you’re a student entering or pursuing an agricultural-related program at a Canadian college, university, or apprenticeship, this is your chance to receive support as you pursue your passion for the agri-food sector.

✔️ One scholarship per region: BC/Territories, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Québec, and Atlantic Canada.
✔️ Applications assessed on leadership and a response to an industry-related question.

Deadline: April 30, 2025.

The Excellence in Student Leadership Awards celebrate students on the Agricultural Campus (AC) who empower and advocate for their fellow students. These awards honour students across a variety of categories showcasing AC student excellence. Students, faculty, and staff are all encouraged to submit nominations. The deadline to submit is now March 10, 2025 (deadline extended). Nominations for the Phillip Stead Memorial Award closed on March 3rd, 2025.
