We’re in full Christmas mode! Christmas tree decorating, crafts, games and music 🎶 Lots of activities before the big day 🎅

Today, we pause to remember and honour the brave men and women who have served, and continue to serve our Country.

At Wynn Park Villa we are proud to recognize our own Veterans, who have made sacrifices for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Lest we forget.

And just like that, November is here! The temperatures might be cooler and the days are shorter but that doesn’t stop the fun and activities here! A few snaps of October 🎃🍁😎

October? It certainly doesn’t seem like it. What a beautiful Fall 🍁 We’ve certainly been enjoying these last days of warm temps, flowers in bloom and walks in our garden 🌺☀️🕶️

What a beautiful Fall we’ve been having here at Away for the Day 🍂We’ve been enjoying outings, music at Wynn Park, celebrating some special Birthdays and lots of activities that keep us busy and having fun!

Sunny days are some of the best days and August has brought lots so far!
☀️🌞🌤️ We’ve had lots of outings this summer but still made time for crafts, Christmas in July, music and various theme days. One of which was Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. We were surprised how much fun we had turning garbage into art!

One of our favourite months at Away for the Day has arrived☀️So far it’s been full of sunshine and warm days! We celebrated Canada a little early with all things Canada 🇨🇦 and today we learned about hot air balloons and made our own. We’ve all decided that they’re fun to watch-not ride!!! 🎈

The time for flowers is here 🌺We’ve been planting them, watching them grow, painting them and making our very own “stained glass” flower decorations. What’s not to love about flowers 🌼

Spring has arrived and we’re ready for it 🌸 Warmer temps mean more walks in the garden and outings!
We’ve been busy doing some Spring activities, attending lots of music at Wynn Park, a visit with our friends at E’Cole Acadien and we celebrated our special ladies for Mother’s Day, just to name a few 🌺

March winds and April snow…oops we mean April showers…bring May flowers??? We certainly hope so! 🌸
