This regional spelling bee continues Rotary Clubs' long history of community involvement, working with parents, youth and other community members.

Congratulations to this year's winners at the Rotary Regional Spelling Bee, held at Bayside Secondary on Saturday, May 9! We had an exciting competition as these brave students spelled their way to the top. Homeschoolers & children whose schools are not hosting their own preliminary bee can compete at the Campbellford Public Library this coming Monday (April 20th) at 1pm!
3 Divisions:
Junior (ages 8-11)
Intermediate (ages 12-13)
Primary (ages 5-7)
The first-place winners in the Junior and Intermediate divisions are invited to compete in the Regional Spelling Bee Finals in May for a chance to win top bragging rights and $500!!

Preliminary Spelling Bees are officially underway in schools across Northumberland, Hastings & Prince Edward Counties!
The winners from each school will compete at the Regional Spelling Bee in May at Bayside Secondary School for a grand prize of $500!
Make sure your speller gets plenty of sleep the night before & a nutritious breakfast the day of their spelling bee!

The spelling BEE joined our Campbellford Rotary family as they collected donations for the local Food Bank during the Campbellford Santa Claus Parade this weekend! Schools can expect an email invitation to join in the 2026 Spelling Bee in January!
