Thank you to the Pictou County Crushers and Mi’kmaki Strong for making the evening possible. The 50/50 funds from last nights game will be coming to our community, to our school leadership group, and to the Elders group! ❤️

Our students sang beautifully today at the community Truth and Reconciliation event. A special shout out to Aliyah Prosper for doing her first solo, singing Buried Truth by Deedee Austin. We are so proud of you all, you are the example of what we mean when we talk about resilience, and pride.

Thank you to our survivors, descendants, for the sharing your knowledge, and truth at the event today. 🧡

More great news, today each student went home with tickets for the Crushers hockey game on Thursday, as they have a special honouring for Truth and Reconciliation. What a great way to show the allyship, by showing up today to our community event wearing beautiful designed jerseys by Mi’kmaki strong. Also, to put a big smile on our students faces with tickets!
