December 19, 2023:
Buses are cancelled in Tri-Board’s western weather zones (HPEDSB) today due to snow received last night and snow continuing this morning. Some routes in other zones may not operate depending on local conditions.
A bus is cancelled in a weather zone if it serves a school or has a bus stop located in the weather zone for both the morning and afternoon runs.

Schools will be open from 9:00 - 3:20. Please make arrangements to pick up any students at the end of the day that are dropped off this morning.

That means School Bus Driver Appreciation Day is on Wednesday Oct 18. It’s the perfect time to thank your drivers for their dedication to the safe transportation of students to and from school daily.

Wildcat Families,
It has been brought to our attention that some of our classrooms and buses have an increased number of students with pediculosis. As a result, it is recommended that you check your child regularly.
Head lice are not a health problem but do need to be treated. Head lice are tiny, flat insects with no wings. They are just 1-2 mm long, greyish brown in colour and hard to see. The nits (eggs) are small white oval-shaped deposits that are stuck to the shaft of the hair. They will likely hatch and your child will be infested. Anyone can get head lice, regardless of hair length. They do not result from a lack of cleanliness.
If you discover evidence of head lice, please apply a recommended treatment such as Nix, R&C Shampoo, Resultz etc. and pick out all live lice and nits from your child’s head.
