Hi Families!

My name is Jess and I am currently in the process of licensing my home for Childcare. As I move through the steps, I am opening as license-not-required (LNR).
I have been teaching since 2016, after receiving my Honours Certificate in Early Childhood Education. I relocated to Trail in 2020 with my young family and have been eager to establish a centre dedicated to, not only childcare, but to the development of a strong learning framework. With previous experience managing an arts based preschool in Victoria, I have the knowledge and resources to teach and help your child grow into an integral part of our community.
My goals are in line with how I care for my children; they will develop strong communication skills, learn to set boundaries with others, and build on the foundations for learning. Expressing feelings and listening to others will be emphasized throughout each day. My philosophy draws mainly from Montessori, however, as children are all individuals, I am always seeking a holistic approach that will best fit them.
I look forward to meeting with you and am grateful for this opportunity to create the building blocks of a strong foundation for your child.
