To educate and advocate for Canadian Hindus and Hindu Heritage

Welcome! You are invited to join a webinar: Hindu Canadian Women Challenging Hate & Advancing Safety. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the webinar. 03/08/2026

This *International Women’s Day*, join us for an insightful conversation featuring Dr. Ragini Sharma, and Ruchi Wali. The conversation seeks to shed light on the realities of rising tide of hate, while celebrating the spirit of Shakti—courage, compassion, and moral strength. Their leadership is vital in building a Canada rooted in genuine respect and inclusion.

Recent events have underscored the urgency of this conversation. The tragic killing of Nancy Grewal, reportedly linked to her opposition to Khalistani extremism, has shaken many communities across North America, and raised serious concerns about the safety of those who speak out.

Across the country, Hindu women are increasingly finding themselves at the forefront of confronting misinformation, harassment, and hostility. While balancing professional and family responsibilities, they continue to defend the dignity of their communities and refuse to be silenced.

This CoHNA Dialogues brings together Hindu Canadian women who have chosen to step into the public sphere with clarity and conviction. They will share their experiences navigating advocacy, public discourse, and community leadership in an increasingly hostile social landscape.

Guru Nanak Dev ji, the first Sikh Guru and the founder of Sikhism, was a Bhakti saint. On this auspicious day of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurpurab: let us walk on his teaching of Kirat Karo (do your duty or KARMA), Naam Japo (meditate on the name of God) and Vand Chhako (share and consume together).

'A true Sikh is someone who has sorted out his mind and his mindset.'

Ik Onkar! The belief in the oneness of God and the oneness of humanity. The belief that everyone is equal
