At Cavell Avenue Preschool, we create an atmosphere that encourages creativity, curiosity and harmony in a nurturing small group. The kids learn how to be together while playing, exploring, being active and creative. We also focus on teaching emotional literacy – giving children the “language” they need to help them work cooperatively and collaboratively. We follow a play-based and child led learning approach where children are given the opportunity to explore freely with a variety of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities. Projects emerge as the children express interest and are curious about different ideas or subject areas. We then create opportunities to explore those concepts in a variety of ways - through art, literacy, science and math concepts - as we problem solve and learn together.

Spring mini-preschool program - starting in March!
Is your child starting Kindergarten in September? Cavell Avenue Preschool is offering a part time spring program from March to June. This mini preschool session provides an opportunity to connect with other children in a small group, home-based setting (ages 3-4).
2 mornings a week for 2 year olds!

Hi Everyone! I still have spaces available for PA day camps (February 16, April 8) and March Break camp for your littles!

Haven't booked summer camps yet? Limited spaces available for weeks of July 1, 8 and 29th (ages 4 and up). Sibling groups welcome as well. All camps run from 9-4, $80 per day.

Camps are full of open-ended creative activities, outdoor exploration and more! PM for more info.

I've started a Thursday afternoon preschool group at Cavell Avenue Preschool from 1:30 to 3:30 and have a couple of spaces available. I also have one Monday morning spot free. The children in these groups will be starting Kindergarten this fall, so it's a nice introduction to being in a group.
