Ontario Model United Nations, or OMUN, is a simulation of the United Nations organization, run by high school and college students at Upper Canada College.

Late this afternoon, Premier Ford, Minister Elliott, and Minister Lecce issued a statement on the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Considering the wellbeing of our delegates and staff, OMUN is cancelled this year. We appreciate all your support and understanding during this difficult time. All registered delegates will be fully refunded. More information will be communicated from our USG External Affairs in due course.

OMUN V is proud to announce our opening ceremony guest speaker: Dr. Joe Wong!

In addition to his newly appointed role as Upper Canada College's Board of Governer member, Dr. Wong is the University of Toronto’s Vice-Provost & Associate Vice-President, International Student Experience. He is the author of many academic articles and several books. Professor Wong has worked extensively with the World Bank and the UN; and has advised governments on matters of public policy in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe. His current research focuses on poverty and innovation.

Despite the previous temporary downsizing, all OMUN committees are back in full action and are all happening this year! We apologize for any confusion that may have been caused, we have been developing the best solution to any problems that may arise from the teachers' job-action later in the year.

To ensure a realistic and comprehensive experience for delegates at the conference, we will be maintaining a refund deadline of March 16th.

Meet our keynote speaker for OMUN 2019, Kathleen Wynne!

For those of you who don't know, Wynne is a Canadian politician former Premier of Ontario. She is currently serving as MPP for Don Valley West. Wynne was also the first female premier of Ontario and the first openly LGBT premier in Canada.

She'll be speaking about her career in national and provincial politics, along with the importance of the youth's involvement in diplomacy, innovation, and more!

Don't miss her keynote at our opening ceremonies, which start after registration (Registration runs from 8:15am-9:00am, don't miss it!)
