Banting and Best Child Care Centre We are a non-profit Child Care Centre since 1989 in Banting and Best Public School and in Prince of Peace Catholic School. Subsidy spots are available.

We are a Non-Profit centre since 1989 in Banting and Best Public School and Prince of Peace Catholic School. We provide High quality Preschool, Kindergarten, and School-Age programs. We have Qualified R.E.C.E. staff, with more than 20 years experience. We are also a Centre that accepts families that have been approved by the city for subsity. Qualified teachers plan programs using Emergent Curriculum. Before and After school programs and Full day programs with lunch are avaliable. Our centre uses the E.L.E.C.T. curriculum that is approved by the Ministry of Education. We also follow the Assesment for Quality Improvement that is requirement for the centre to be able to provided child care to families that need the assistance of the subsity program. In our Before and After School Program, we provided tutoring and homework assistance, weekly group lessons, and various clubs (science, computer, drama, and sports clubs).

Effective April 3 at 12:01 a.m., Ontario is imposing a provincewide emergency brake as a result of an alarming surge in case numbers and COVID-19 hospitalizations across the province. This will be in place for at least four weeks.

All 34 public health unit regions are moving into shutdown. To support youth and working families, schools and child care remain open during the shutdown with stringent health and safety measures.
