The Arts and Science digital publication Committee- composed of Maria Belén Ordóñez, Dot Tuer, and Kathy Kiloh- are thrilled and so pleased to announce the first Issue of the Arts and Science Review, Writing in Extraordinary Times: Selected Student Work in Liberal Arts and Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies. This Issue contains a collection of twelve student papers, selected from faculty nominations at the onset of COVID-19 and at the end of the Winter term (2020).
We especially want to thank the Web designer for the Arts and Science Review, Nicole Vella, an undergraduate Digital Futures student! We are also grateful for the funding received from LASSIS (prize awards for three students in the collection), the VPA office, IT, and the Center for Emerging Artists and Designers that supported production of an external facing website.
