This program is designed for students interested in applying to post-secondary arts programs that require a portfolio as part of the admission process, such as Visual Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, and more.

The program will run from October 23rd 2026, to February 5th 2027, every Friday excluding holidays.Under the guidance of our experienced Art Teacher, Sam McGuire, MFA students will receive personalized support to develop a comprehensive and well-rounded portfolio tailored to the specific programs they wish to apply to. On May 13th, we were honoured to welcome Jenn Green and her grandfather, Holocaust survivor Nate Leipciger to speak to staff and students from grades 5-12.

We are grateful they were able to share Nate’s powerful story with us about surviving the Holocaust.

We would like to congratulate Nate on recently being appointed to the Order of Ontario and the Order of Canada, recognizing his extraordinary contributions to both Ontario and Canada.

Remembering the Holocaust and honoring its victims helps build a society rooted in respect, empathy, and inclusion.

We hope the presentation inspired us all to reflect and carry these lessons forward. We must never forget!
