Big news for Ontario’s wine lovers and future industry leaders! 🍷

Starting August 2025, George Brown College will be one of the first in Toronto to offer the prestigious WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines — a globally recognized, expert-level qualification and a major step toward becoming a Master of Wine. 🌎✨

This new part-time, two-year program will be hosted by our Centre of Excellence for Wine & Beverage and taught by some of the country’s top wine educators — including two of Canada’s Masters of Wine.

Throwing it back to Roots & Recipes 2025, where we got the chance to speak with Avion Primus from our H315 – Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Culinary Management program!) 👩🏽‍🍳🥧

We were excited to learn more about Avion's inspiration, her tips for re-creating her dish at home, and what being a part of Roots & Recipes meant to her.

Roots & Recipes marked the start of where we celebrated flavours from the African and Caribbean culinary diaspora with a delicious spread of hors d’oeuvres and mocktails. 🍹✨

The Chefs' House had the distinct pleasure of hosting three Ontario Wine Awards winners from Prince Edward County, including: Three Dog Winery, Closson Chase Vineyards and Huff Estates Winery.

The evening featured a four-course wine pairing dinner with premium, small-batch wines from each winery. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this night a success. ✨
