Our mission is to ensure children in underserved communities have access to meaningful STEM learning and educational resources from early childhood through adolescence. Parents Engaged in Education was formed by committed parent leaders, teachers and principal who are focused on providing resources to school councils across the province of Ontario. We are also exploring new ways to engage parents and excite them about becoming involved in their children’s education. In February 2021, PEIE opened CANADA’S FIRST EDUCATION BANK providing free school supplies, great books, fun activities, lunch bags full of food, mental health resources and technology to vulnerable students. Equity matters to the volunteers at PEIE, we believe every child deserves to be elevated with opportunities that allow them to be their best self and build a great future.
