Battle of the Atlantic
Yesterday, RCSCC Vanguard, Scarborough, and Ojibwa joined HMCS York in commemorating the 81st anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic. This year, the event was held in Port Credit.
On the first Sunday of May each year, we remember the sacrifices and service of the navymen, merchant sailors, and women who protected the Atlantic in WII's longest battle.

Six weeks ago, we had the pleasure to attend an event hosted by the Lieutenant Governor for Black History Month – Legacy & Legends: Honouring Black Military Leaders.
The event highlighted the achievements and journeys of a few history-making Black military leaders. It was incredibly inspiring to learn their stories and their worldviews.

Lest We Forget.
Today, Vanguard joins other cadets units and military units at Old City Hall in remembrance. 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII and the 100th anniversary of the Toronto Cenotaph at Old City Hall.
We remember and honour those who have served and are currently serving to protect the freedoms of our country.
