So start now: intend a Ramadan of Qur’an, salah, dua, charity, and leaving what displeases Allah.
And we ask Allah to let us reach Ramadan. Allahumma ballighna Ramadan. Ameen.

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said:

“O Messenger of Allah… I’ve been afflicted by a tremendous sin. Is there any repentance for me?”
The Prophet ﷺ asked, “Do you have your mother?” He said no. So he ﷺ said: “Do you have any maternal aunts?” He said yes. The Prophet ﷺ replied: “Then be dutiful to them.” 

Context: The Prophet ﷺ said:
(“The maternal aunt is like the mother”)

— Jami’ al-Tirmidhī 1904, graded Sahih

And in another ḥadīth, when the Prophet ﷺ was asked about the best of deeds, he ﷺ said:

1) Ṣalāh on time
2) Birr al-wālidayn (dutifulness to parents)
3) Jihād in the path of Allah 

Sometimes the door back to Allah isn’t “just words” — it’s service, humility, and making things right with the people you owe the most.

So start today: a message, a call, an apology, a visit, a small act of khidmah… and watch how Allah opens doors you never expected.
