During the Pawsitively Pets visit, the children became the mountains for the chinchilla to sit on ⛰️

Our J.K.s loved exploring and learning through their "Authors and Artists" unit, during the month of April. The authors they focused on were , , and ! They completed reading comprehension and reflection activities for each of the author's wonderful books. Favourites included transforming a letter from Melanie Watt into one from "Chester", making "Mix It Up!" and "Let's Play!" art, writing stories just like "Rocket" and outlining our dream birthday party just like "Moira's Birthday". We love to read and felt lots of gratitude towards these four amazing authors for inspiring us! 📚❤️

Our J.K.s loved exploring and learning through their "Authors and Artists" unit, during the month of April. The artists they focused on were Piet Mondrian, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and the Group of Seven! They filled in artists profiles for each, completed side-by-side art of their most famous works and explored recreating their styles through a variety of activities! They especially loved painting landscapes outdoors just like the Group of Seven! These little artists might be in the AGO themselves one day! 🎨❤️
