We would like to update our Families regarding the ongoing collective bargaining negotiations between the Union and ICSG.
At this time, no strike or labour disruption has been announced. However, there is a potential that the earliest strike day will be October 5th, 2026 at 12:01 am. As negotiations continue, we want to ensure that families are aware of the situation and have the information they need should circumstances change.
We understand that the possibility of a labour disruption may cause concern and uncertainty. To help answer some common questions, we have circulated a “Frequently Asked Questions” information page that was shared with all Families via Lillio and email. Please ensure you review the information.
Our priority remains the safety, care, and well-being of the Children and Families we serve. We are closely monitoring developments and will communicate any significant updates as soon as information becomes available.
