For Thoughtfulness Thursday, we’re sharing a tradition close to our hearts.
Our Annual Mildenhall Mitten Tree, inspired by the story The Mitten Tree, invites our community to donate new mittens, hats, scarves, gloves, toques, and cozy socks for families in need.❄️🧤🧣
All donations support Haven on the Queensway and will be accepted until December 12th.

Do you know the difference between an isosceles, scalene, equilateral, acute and obtuse triangle? 🤔🔺
Today, one of our students explored these concepts using the Montessori geometry materials—carefully building each type of triangle and then recording his discoveries in his math book. 📐✨

As December begins, we’re thinking of others. Montessori encourages real-world awareness, and our Casa 1 students are helping sort donations for Helping Hands for Jamaica—supporting communities rebuilding after Hurricane Melissa. A meaningful way to start the season of giving. 🎁🇯🇲

Meet Mr. Slavko, our Physical Education Teacher who has supported movement and physical confidence at Mildenhall Montessori for 20 years.
From preparing our older students for Track & Field to leading our annual school wide Sports Day, Mr. Slavko brings care, consistency, and a deep respect for each child’s development. 🏃♂️⚽️

In a Montessori community, older students play a beautiful role in guiding the younger ones. Today, one of our Upper Elementary students joined the Casa children for lunch—modeling grace and courtesy, supporting independence, and building a strong sense of community.
Mixed-age moments like this are the heart of Montessori. 💛
