Founded in 1961, Montcrest School is a co-educational, non-denominational independent school that provides children with a solid academic foundation for future success in education and life. Our campus overlooks Riverdale Park in the Broadview and Danforth area.

Our JK–Grade 2 students put their cycling skills to the test at the Bike Rodeo in Riverdale Park, taking on a variety of challenges and stations with confidence and enthusiasm. Students also created signs for their grade-level parking areas and prepared snacks to help fellow riders recharge throughout the event. A special thank you to the many parent, faculty, and staff volunteers whose support, encouragement, and hard work helped make the day such a success.

As we head into summer, we’ll be sharing photos and highlights from the school year. We’re starting by thanking the MPA for treating our students to an ice cream truck during the final week of school. Students from JK to Grade 8 enjoyed the special treat and appreciated this sweet way to celebrate the end of another great year!

Our Grade 7 students recently returned from an exciting trip to Ottawa, where they had the opportunity to explore Canada’s history, government, and culture firsthand. Over the course of the trip, students spent time learning beyond the classroom while enjoying experiences with their classmates and teachers. It was a valuable opportunity to build connections, gain new perspectives, and make the most of the final weeks of the school year.

Our Grade 8 trip to Québec was a great way to wrap up a memorable final year at Montcrest. Spending four days together gave students the opportunity to enjoy time with their classmates and teachers before graduation this Friday. We are proud of all they have accomplished and will miss them as they move on to their next chapter.
