Allen Azoulay, an Ohr HaEmet alumnus and the brother of our Menahel, Rabbi Azoulay, was honoured yesterday in Washington, D.C., at the prestigious Project Legacy 250 Gala.

The gala recognized an influential group of leaders whose extraordinary achievements, dedicated service, and visionary leadership reflect the enduring values and highest ideals of the United States of America.

Eric Trump was in attendance, and our Menahel had the opportunity to offer a blessing to him and the Trump family. Mazal tov to Allen Azoulay on this well-deserved honour!

What a beautiful and inspiring evening as we welcomed home our new Menahel, Rabbi Messod Azoulay, a proud alumnus of our school.

With standing room only attendance, the overwhelming support from our community was a powerful testament to the love and commitment shared for our school. The evening featured a moving video with special messages from the Rishon LeZion and our Dean, Haham Amram Assayag, as well as heartfelt words from our community rabbis and keynote speaker Rabbi Sytner.

It was truly a night of unity, hope, and excitement as our entire community came together to celebrate a new chapter and the rebirth of our warm, family-oriented school.

Welcome HOME, Rabbi Azoulay!

As part of our unit on the needs of living things, the Grade 1 girls have been learning about the life cycle and needs of chickens. To bring their learning to life, the students participated in a hands-on experience, beginning with fertilized eggs and carefully maintaining them in an incubator with the proper conditions for hatching. The excitement continued as the chicks emerged, and the students are now helping to care for their newborn chicks while observing their growth and development firsthand. 🐥

Following a recipe entirely in Hebrew, our Grade 4 girls, Grade 5 boys, and Grade 6 girls put their language skills into action by making homemade pickles! 🥒🇮🇱

Now comes the hard part, waiting until next week to taste the results! 😋

The Grade 2 girls created beautiful “מי אני?” (Who Am I?) posters.

Some have long hair, some have short hair. Some have blue eyes, and some have brown eyes. Through this activity, the girls celebrated what makes each person unique and learned that everyone is special in their own way.
